AAA Canadian Welding Academy is proud to be a CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) accredited test centre. This means our North York facility is officially recognized and authorized by the CWB to administer welder qualification tests under strict national standards.
CWB certification is the industry standard for professional welders in Canada. Holding a CWB certification demonstrates that a welder has met the rigorous performance requirements set by the Canadian Welding Bureau, making them qualified to perform structural and pressure welding work across the country.
As an accredited test centre, we provide everything you need in one location: expert training, hands-on preparation, and the official certification test itself. There is no need to travel to a separate facility to complete your CWB qualification.
Our dedicated CWB Test Prep course is designed to prepare you for success on your Canadian Welding Bureau certification test.
The CWB Test Prep course is open to all individuals who wish to obtain their Canadian Welding Bureau certification. Whether you are a newcomer to welding or have existing experience in the trade, this course will prepare you for the official CWB qualification test.
Previous experience as a welder is NOT required to enroll in this course.

Over two weeks of evening classes, you will receive focused hands-on training in GMAW and SMAW welding processes. Our certified instructors will work with you to build technique, confidence, and test readiness.
As a CWB accredited test centre, we administer the official Canadian Welding Bureau certification test right here at our North York campus. No need to travel to a separate testing location.
Upon successfully passing your test, you will receive your official CWB certification, qualifying you to perform structural and pressure welding work across Canada and opening the door to rewarding career opportunities.
