Welding Technician Diploma

Introduction Course

Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Introduction

Also known as Stick welding, SMAW is one of the most versatile and widely used welding processes in the industry. This introductory course teaches you the fundamentals of using a consumable electrode coated in flux to lay welds on a variety of metals and joint configurations.

Certification Prep

CWB Test Prep Course

Prepare for your Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certification with our dedicated test preparation course. Our instructors guide you through the specific requirements and techniques you need to pass your CWB welder qualification test with confidence.

As a CWB accredited test centre, AAA Canadian Welding Academy allows you to train and test in the same facility. Our expert instructors, including a 456A welder and a Red Seal certified welder, ensure you are fully prepared for certification day.

Class Times: Monday & Wednesday, 18:00 – 21:00
Previous experience as a welder is not required. This course is designed for both beginners and experienced welders preparing for CWB certification.
